RecordStoreDay.com announced the full list of releases for 2023’s Record Store Day, which takes place Saturday April 22. Record Store Day began in 2007 when a group of independent record store owners and employees came together and created the day as an opportunity to celebrate independent record stores along with the musicians themselves, and the patrons and employees of the many independent stores.
RSD releases cover nearly a vast selection of genres, artists, and both new releases, re-releases, live albums, and special exclusive versions. RSD releases include vinyl, LPs, CDs, and cassette.
Titles of note include RSD exclusives such as The Cure’s ‘Show’ (2023 Remaster), a double LP ‘Stop & Smell The Roses’ from Ringo Starr, ‘The Legendary Demos’ of Carole King, ‘Crosseyed Strangers: An Alternate Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ by Wilco, and many other exciting releases.
