Since 2017 Crunchyroll has hosted the ‘Crunchyroll Anime Awards’ which recognizes best series, film, characters, VAs domestically and internationally, and more. Crunchyroll released the initial nominees recognized by a panel of industry judges and anime creators on January 17th. Voting is open to all and will run through January 27th.
Crunchyroll has announced the ceremony will take place at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan with a livestream for audiences to watch across the world. Crunchyroll has announced that more details will be forthcoming.
‘Chainsaw Man’ received the most nominations with 15 in a varitey of categories, followed close behind by ‘Juujutsu Kaizen’ and ‘BOCCHI THE ROCK!’.
