5th Generation girl group MEOVV released their 2nd MV and single “Toxic” on November 18th. The group debuted under THEBLACKLABEL on September 6th with their fierce title track ‘MEOVV’, which featured the group coming out the gate with bombastic energy. Now they’ve returned with a rhythmic thumping track that is both a banger, and yet relatively minimalist.
‘Toxic’, sung entirely in English, tells the story of a narrator who is both talking to a lover who’s toxic “Get yourself together, please” while also recognizing in the chorus that it’s the combo of them and their partner “Together, we’re so toxic”
MEOVV, which stands for “My Eyes Open VVide”, includes five members Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella.
THEBLACKLABEL, helmed by Teddy and Kush, also represents acts such as Jeon Somi, Taeyang (BigBang), and Rosé (Blackpink).
