Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) has unveiled an exciting wave of guest announcements for its 2025 convention, highlighted by May Hong, the star of Netflix’s breakout animated feature K-Pop: Demon Hunters. The event will take place from December 18–21, 2025, marking the convention’s second year at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta.

May Hong currently stars as “Mira” in K-Pop: Demon Hunters, Netflix’s latest animated phenomenon that has become a global sensation and #1 movie on the platform. Beyond this role, Hong has appeared in a wide range of acclaimed projects including Full Circle (Max), Julio Torres’ Fantasmas (Max), Tales of the City (Netflix), Up Here (Hulu), Hacks (Max), and High Maintenance (HBO). She also starred in Adam, directed by Rhys Ernest, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Suzie Yeung
An accomplished actress and voice actor, Suzie Yeung is best known as Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fuuka in Persona 3 Reload, Makima in Chainsaw Man, and Eula in Genshin Impact. She has also lent her voice to beloved franchises including Demon Slayer, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, NieR, Jujutsu Kaisen, Fire Emblem, and Call of Duty.
Anairis Quinones
Anairis Quinones is a Puerto Rican Black actor based in Los Angeles, California. They began voice acting at just 11 years old through online communities, inspired by watching Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) and learning from Laura Bailey’s commentary tracks. After years of collaborating with indie game developers and student animators, Anairis shifted focus fully to voiceover after booking roles in Kemono Friends and RWBY. Since then, they’ve become a rising force in anime and gaming, driven by their passion for collaboration and storytelling.
Emi Lo
Emi Lo is a Taiwanese/Chinese-American voice actor best known as Lucy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Maomao in The Apothecary Diaries, and Ruan Mei in Honkai: Star Rail. Their voice has also brought life to roles such as Sawatari in Chainsaw Man, Rena in Higurashi When They Cry, Rinku in D4DJ, Suma in Demon Slayer, Columbina/Damselette in Genshin Impact, Miri in Buddy Daddies, Hei in The Legend of Hei, Destiny in takt op. Destiny, Shuten Douji in Fate/Grand Order, Kate in Shadows House, Mirai in Dr. Stone, and Young Hawks in My Hero Academia. With countless anime and video game credits, Emi has become a standout performer beloved by fans worldwide.
