Netflix has released the trailer for Ballad of a Small Player, featuring Colin Farrell as Lord Doyle, a man hiding out in Macau and gambling and drinking his way into mounting debts. His luck takes an unexpected turn when Dao Ming, played by Fala Chen, offers him a mysterious opportunity. At the same time, private investigator Cynthia Blithe (Tilda Swinton) begins her pursuit, determined to track Doyle down.
The film is directed by Edward Berger (Conclave, All Quiet on the Western Front).
Farrel, Chen, and Swinton are joined by additional cast members including Deanie Ip and Alex Jennings.
Ballad of a Small Player will be released in select theaters on October 15th and on Netflix on October 29th.
