Netflix has dropped the highly anticipated trailer for Stranger Things 5, teasing Vecna’s return, Hawkins under military quarantine, and the gang gearing up for their ultimate showdown.
The series will premiere in three parts:
- Volume 1: November 26, 5 PM PT
- Volume 2: December 25, 5 PM PT
- Finale: December 31, 5 PM PT
Synopsis: Stranger Things 5 picks up in the fall of 1987, with Hawkins still reeling from the Rifts opened at the end of Season 4. Our heroes are united in one goal: find and kill Vecna.
“But [Vecna] has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown,” reads the official synopsis. “Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”

The first four episodes of Stranger Things 5 debut on November 26, followed by three episodes on Christmas Day, with the season finale airing on New Year’s Eve. Fans can expect an epic conclusion as Hawkins faces its most dangerous threat yet.
