HBO released their first still for the upcoming fourth season of True Detective, titled True Detective: Night Country. The fourth season is set to star Jodie Foster and Kali Reis and will take place in Alaska. Season 3, the last installment of True Detective, was released January 2019.
HBO Max previously teased the announcement of the series in a compilation video featuring upcoming projects to be released in 2023. True Detective is an anthology that each season focuses on a different crime with a varying cast of lead actors.
