VOMS Project VTuber Group announces retirement of member Amano Pikamee in a tweet. Pikamee had recently announced a brief hiatus from VTubing, and in a video today on their own channel said they’d be ending activities on March 31st.

VOMS Project nor Pikamee expressed a specific reason for Pikamee’s graduation; however, speculation by many is that this is due to backlash over Pikamee’s playing of “Hogwart’s Legacy”. “Hogwart’s Legacy” has become a flashpoint over Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling’s anti-trans stances.
