Entertainment Weekly shared an exclusive look at new images from the forthcoming Disney+ series ‘Muppets Mayhem’. ‘Muppets Mayhem’ follows the Muppets band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem as they try to record their album.
Joining the Muppets will be cast members Lilly Singh (Nora), who plays a record producer, her sister Hannah, played by Saara Chaudry, and Electric Mayhem fanatic Gary ‘Moog’ Moogowski played by Tahj Mowry.

According to the EW exclusive, Bill Barretta, co-creator of the series, was inspired by the Muppets performance at the Outside Lands music festival in 2016.
The EW article continues on to emphasize the music for the series will be a mix of covers of classic rock tracks, especially 70s era songs, along with many original band tracks created for the in-show album creation.
The Muppets Mayhem was initially announced at D23 2022. No date has been set as of yet for the release of the series.
