Studio Ponoc released the first trailer for their forthcoming film ‘The Imaginary’, which is adapted from the titular children’s novel by A. F. Harrold.
Logline:
‘His name is Roger.
No one in the world can see it.
Because Rajah is a girl who has lost her love
An imaginary friend – imaginary.
However, the imaginary had a fate.
When he is forgotten by humans, he disappears.
The disappointing Rajah arrived at
Imaginations once forgotten by humans
It was an “imaginary town” where people lived close together.’
Studio Ponoc was founded by Yoshiaki Nishimura, a former lead film producer of Studio Ghibli. ‘The Imaginary’ is the third feature film to be released by the studio following ‘Modest Heroes’ and ‘Mary and the Witch’s Flower’.
