MAPPA released the final trailer for the forthcoming film ‘Maboroshi (Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou)’, which will be released in theaters in Japan on September 15th.
Synopsis: Masamune is a 14-year-old who lives in a town where time has stopped due to an explosion at a steelworks. He had made a rule that he was not allowed to change anything, so that he could go back to normal someday, and he was spending his days feeling depressed. One day, guided by his mysterious classmate Mutsumi, he steps into the No. 5 blast furnace of a steelworks. There was Gomi, a girl who couldn’t speak and looked like a wild wolf. The encounter with the two girls was the beginning of the world’s imbalance. What kind of future will the unstoppable impulse of love end up in?
Mari Okada, previously known as a writer on ‘A Whisker Away’ and co-writer and director for ‘Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms’, serves as writer and director for the film.
Junya Enoki, Reina Ueda, and Misaki Kuno are among the film’s actors.
