GKIDS released the English dub cast ahead of the theatrical release of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film ‘The Boy and the Heron’. The cast features Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Karen Fukuhara, Mark Hamill, Robert Pattinson, and Florence Pugh. Bale previously voiced Howl in the English dub cast for Howl’s Moving Castle.
The theatrical release date for the film is December 8, and the film will be released nationwide and IMAX.
GKIDS released a video introduction to the film which says:
“A young boy named Mahito yearning for his mother ventures into a world shared by the living and the dead. There, death comes to an end, and life finds a new beginning.
A semi-autobiographical fantasy about life, death, and creation, in tribute to friendship, from the mind of Hayao Miyazaki.”
