A24 released the first promotional image from director Alex Garland’s forthcoming film ‘Civil War’. A24 also teased a trailer release which will be coming out next week. There has been no set release date yet for the film.
In the graphic, two soldiers are positioned in the torch of the Statue of Liberty looking out below with sandbags surrounding them.
Garland serves as the writer and director of the film, with producers Gregory Goodman, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich. Garland previously wrote and directed the films ‘Annhilation’, ‘Ex Machina’, ‘Men’, along with the TV series ‘Devs’.
‘Civil War’ is set to star Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Cailee Spaeny, Karl Glusman, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonica T. Gibbs, and Jess Matney.
