Amy Jo Johnson, who originated the role of the Pink ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, announced via tweet that she is writing a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic series with BOOM Studios.
This follows earlier clarification from Johnson by Twitter as to why she was not starring in the 30th anniversary special Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always.

BOOM Studios launched a Kickstarter to support the creation of a 30th anniversary comic book. As of this writing with 27 days to go it has vastly surpassed the original goal of $25,000.
