In a recent interview with Variety, actor Diego Luna, who plays the titular character Cassian Andor, confirms ‘Andor’ will wrap up after it’s 2nd and final season. Variety quotes Luna as saying “It is just a two-season show, which is really important for my mental health. But knowing this is the end, I want to enjoy it and get the best out of this experience.”
‘Andor’ became a break-out hit for Disney, as it tells the story of Cassian before the stand alone Star Wars film ‘Rogue One’. ‘Andor’ traces Cassian’s origins as a reluctant rebel, who by the time we see him in ‘Rogue One’ has become a leader for the rebellion.
Esquire spoke earlier with Kyle Soller, who plays Deputy Inspector Syril Karn, and Soller said to expect Season 2 in 2024.
