Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) has revealed more of its star-studded lineup for their 2024 convention, including Japanese boy band MADKID and solo artist Miura Ayme. The event, set to take place from December 12 to December 15, 2024, will mark its debut at the expansive Georgia World Congress Center, a significant shift from its previous home at the Cobb Galleria in north Atlanta.
MADKID
MADKID, known for their electrifying blend of rap and vocals, is composed of rappers LIN and Yuki alongside vocalists YOU-TA, SHIN, and KAZUKI. The group has gained international acclaim for their contributions to popular anime soundtracks, including The Rising of the Shield Hero, Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre, and Sasaki and Peeps.
Miura Ayme
Joining MADKID is the multi-talented Miura Ayme, an artist known for their versatility as a writer, composer, as well as an accomplished actor, cosplayer, and voice actor. Their artistic repertoire extends further into the world of gaming, where they’ve written for mystery games.

In addition to MADKID and Miura, AWA’s 2024 roster includes a variety of highlights from the worlds of anime, gaming, music, fashion, and pop culture. Attendees have the opportunity to meet such talents as Johnny Yong Bosch (Bleach, Trigun), Colleen Clinkenbeard (One Piece, My Hero Academia), and Anne Yatco (Jujutsu Kaisen). The gaming world will also take center stage with cast members from Baldur’s Gate 3, including Neil Newbon, Jennifer English, and Theo Solomon, bringing a touch of fantasy to the proceedings.
Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) will also host a special stop of the hololive Stage World Tour ’24: Soar! at this year’s event. This highly anticipated visit will bring an electrifying live performance featuring some of hololive’s most beloved VTubers, including members from its English, Japanese, and Indonesian branches. Fans can look forward to appearances by stars like Koseki Bijou, Gigi Murin, Nerissa Ravencroft, and Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame. With its immersive digital stage experience, the hololive concert promises to be one of the standout moments of AWA 2024
AWA 2024 will also feature more incredible music artists like Nami Tamaki, U_CHAE (formerly of PIXY), Uki Satake, and the indie duo from20 & HELLO GLOOM. Iconic Japanese brands such as BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT and HYPER CORE will represent fashion, while the mischievous GLOOMY BEAR, a beloved Japanese mascot, will make a special appearance.
This year’s move to the Georgia World Congress Center reflects AWA’s growth as one of the largest anime conventions in the Southeast. With more space and an even more ambitious lineup, the 2024 event is shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of anime, music, and pop culture.
