Apple TV+ released the first teaser for the forthcoming series ‘Masters of the Air’, which is the follow-up to ‘Band of Brothers’ and ‘The Pacific’, the former co-created by Stephen Spielberg and Tom Hanks, and the latter co-produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman. The trio of Spielberg, Hanks, and Goetzman serve as a the co-exec. producers for ‘Masters of the Air’, follows the true story of an American bomber group in World War II.
‘Masters of the Air’ is adapted from Donald L. Miller’s eponymous book, which follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air.
‘Masters of the Air’ features a cast that includes Academy Award nominee Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Rafferty Law, Academy Award nominee Barry Keoghan, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook and Ncuti Gatwa.
