Apple TV+ has officially renewed its acclaimed sci-fi drama Foundation for a fourth season. The series, inspired by Isaac Asimov’s groundbreaking novels, will continue its sweeping saga of power, rebellion, and destiny.

Set in a distant future under the rule of the Cleonic Empire — a dynasty of genetic clones that maintains control over the galaxy — Foundation follows visionary mathematician Hari Seldon (Jared Harris). Seldon develops the science of psychohistory, a method of predicting the rise and fall of civilizations on a massive scale. To preserve humanity’s knowledge during the empire’s inevitable decline, he establishes the Foundation, sparking a struggle that spans generations.
