Apple TV+’s ‘Manhunt’ follows the story of America’s most famous assassin John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln, as he attempts to evade capture following the assassination.
The series will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on March 15, 2024.
Synopsis: Based on the New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award-winning nonfiction book from author James L. Swanson, “Manhunt” is a conspiracy thriller about one of the best known but least understood crimes in history, the astonishing story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.
‘Manhunt’ features a cast comprised of Tobias Menzies, Anthony Boyle, Lovie Simone, and Will Harrison.
‘Manhunt’ is written by Monica Beletsky, who also serves as executive producer, alongside executive producer and director Carl Franklin, who is joined by fellow directors John Dahl and Eva Sørhaug.
