Apple TV+ has officially announced via tweet that its critically acclaimed show Slow Horses has been renewed for a fifth season, following the conclusion of its fourth season. The latest season received a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Slow Horses was renewed for a fifth season even before the fourth season aired, and plans for a sixth season are already in place ahead of season five’s release.
The show is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by Will Smith (Veep). Executive producers include Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Will Smith, Jane Robertson, and Graham Yost. Season three was directed by Saul Metzstein.
Slow Horses is based on Mick Herron’s popular spy series Slough House. The ensemble cast features Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù.
