In a tweet from Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski, he revealed that Warner Bros. Animation & WB Home Entertainment will be producing a Babylon 5 animated film. Straczynski says quote it will be “raucous, heartfelt, nonstop, a ton of fun through time and space & a love letter to the fans.”
No details have yet to be shared for a release date; however, Straczynski promised more details to come in a week’s time.
Babylon 5 first aired as a test pilot film on February 22, 1994, and following that the series Babylon 5: The Gathering aired for five seasons. There is also set to be a Babylon 5 reboot that was previously announced which will air on The CW.
