Marvel’s Daredevil returns in the forthcoming series Daredevil: Born Again, with Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock, the vigilant lawyer-turned-hero known as Daredevil. The series will drop on Disney+ on March 5th.
Synopsis: In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Cox first brought Murdock to life in the acclaimed Netflix series Daredevil, later appearing in the crossover miniseries The Defenders. Following Disney’s reacquisition of character rights, Cox’s Daredevil was reintroduced in projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Now, he’s back to headline this much-anticipated series.
Alongside Cox, fan favorites Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson will return as Karen Page and Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, while Vincent D’Onofrio once again steps into the formidable role of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. Jon Bernthal is also confirmed to reprise his role as Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher.
The series also stars Margarita Levieva, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal.
Dario Scardapane serves as showrunner, with episodes directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd.
