According to Variety.com, CEO Bob Iger announced an additional sequel for both Frozen and Toy Story along with Zootopia’s first film sequel.
Iger announced this news as part of an end-of-quarter earnings call which also included bitterer news regarding layoffs of approximately 3% of Disney’s workforce, about 7k employees, which is part of a strategy to help boost Disney’s earnings in an increasingly competitive entertainment market.
Bob Iger, who previouosly held the role of Disney’s CEO from 2005-2020, resumed his role as Disney’s CEO in November 2022 after his successor Bob Chapek was pushed out.
