‘Ghosts’ Reappear in Trailer for the BBC Series’ Fifth and Final Season

The BBC has released the first trailer for the fifth and final season of ‘Ghosts’, which follows the life of a young couple who move into a dilapitated country estate, whereupon after an accident the Allison, played by Charlotte Ritchie, sees, hears, and is able to engage with the various ghosts of the house. ‘Ghosts’ Season 5 will be released on iPlayer on October 6th.

‘Ghosts’ was created by, and stars, the members of Horrible Histories, which is an historical, comedy troupe who are also known for their titular series as well as Yonderland.

Mathew Baynton,  Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, and Ben Willbond star in the series, and area all members of the comedy troupe, while joining Ritchie, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Lolly Adefope, and Katy Wix serve as the non-members of Horrible Histories on the cast.

‘Ghosts’ last returned to the TV screen with a 2022 Christmas special.

‘Ghosts’ has since been adapted for CBS, which has renewed the American series for a third season which has yet to be released.
