GKIDS announced today they’ve acquired the rights to the animated film ‘Lonely Castle in the Mirror’ based on the acclaimed novel by Mizuki Tsujimura and directed by Keiichi Hara (Miss Hokusai, Colorful, The Wonderland).
They have also announced the film will be screened in theaters with both the original Japanese language release and a brand new English dub.
In ‘Lonely Castle in the Mirror’, a shy outcast Kokoro has been avoiding school for weeks when she is transported through her mirror to an enchanted castle, along with six other students.
A girl in a wolf mask informs them that they must work together to uncover what unites them—and risk being eaten by a wolf.
