Hyo, aka DJ Hyo, of Girls’ Generation dropped her latest solo single ‘Retro Romance along with a music video that harkens back to vintage sounds and fashion styles.
In the music video, HYO evokes a summery vibe as she sings about “Old school passion” and “80’s fashion” in sporty attire as she channels a California summer feel in what might be the very last summery song to be released in 2024.
In the lead-up to her single release, she released a series of pictorials for the single
HYO previously released a number of singles as a solo or lead artist including Dessert featuring Loopy and Soyeon, Deep, and most recently Picture in 2024.
She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Girls’ Generation which formed in 2007 and recently celebrated their seventeeth year anniversary.
