Johnnyswim, the Nashville-based singer-songwriter duo of Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano-Ramirez, is ushering in the holiday season with a special run of Christmas shows across the East Coast beginning December 4. Celebrated for their lush harmonies, magnetic stage presence, and heartfelt songwriting, the duo promises to bring a warm, intimate energy to their holiday performances.
Johnnyswim first kicked off their Christmas tradition in 2014 with the release of A Johnnyswim Christmas. Since then, they have returned to holiday touring several times, building a beloved seasonal repertoire that now includes favorites like “The Christmas Waltz,” “Pass Me a Pint,” and “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve.” Whether through originals or reimagined holiday classics, the pair has cultivated a festive sound that resonates deeply with fans.
Past holiday performances have included their acclaimed cover of The Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York,” a fan-favorite addition to their seasonal sets.
This year’s tour follows the release of their latest project, When the War Is Over, whose deluxe edition arrived on October 3, 2025. The album features standout tracks such as “Monte Carlo” and “Stranger,” the latter featuring acclaimed artist Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, In the Heights). With that momentum, Johnnyswim’s Christmas dates promise a warm blend of musicianship, nostalgia, and holiday spirit.
The duo’s December run includes stops in Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina, offering fans across the East Coast a chance to celebrate the season with Johnnyswim’s signature charm.
