Kyoto Animation released the first teaser for Sound! Euphonium’s third season, The Kitauji High School Brass Band as they aim to win a gold medal at the national tournament, with Kumiko Kiumae as the club director.
Sound! Euphonium 3 will be released as part of the Spring 2024 anime season.
Sound! Euphonium began as a novel series written by Ayano Takeda. This was later adapted into a successful manga series and anime, the latter of which began in 2015. Earlier this year an OVA was released titled Sound! Euphonium: Ensemble Contest.
Other films in the Sound! Euphonium universe include Sound! Euphonium: The Movie – Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band (2016), Sound! Euphonium: The Movie – May the Melody Reach You! (2017), Liz and the Blue Bird (2018), and Sound! Euphonium: The Movie – Our Promise: A Brand New Day (2019).
