Starz released the trailer for their forthcoming period drama ‘Mary & George’, which looks at the life of Mary Villiers, Countess of Buckingham and George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham as they try to ascend the ranks of royalty.
‘Mary & George’ will premiere on STARZ on April 5th.
Synopsis: Mary & George is an audacious historical psychodrama about a treacherous mother and son who schemed, seduced and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I. Based on a scandalous true story, the seven-part limited series is coming to STARZ in 2024.
‘Mary & George’ features Academy Award-winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice) and Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White & Royal Blue) as the titular mother and son.
