Netflix has announced a 2nd season for their show ‘Class’, which adapts the Spanish series ‘Elite’ in an private school in New Delhi. Netflix dropped all 8 of the first season’s episodes on February 3, 2023.
Premise of ‘Class’: Three students from a poor neighborhood attend an exclusive high school for Delhi elite, where dark secrets and rumors ultimately lead to murder.
India Today, and the podcast Bollywood Besharams, have both equated Class to being “India’s ‘Gossip Girl'”. Netflix doesn’t share ratings for all their shows, including ‘Class’, but in their Season 2 announcement they cited its popularity with fans.
