Netflix released on Twitter additional cast announcements for Season 2 of One Piece following a personal message by One Piece creator Eeichiro Oda. In the message from Oda, he shared his excitement for Netflix’s live-action One Piece Season 2, which he said is well under way with production. He thanked Netflix, Matt Owens, showrunner of One Piece, as well as Tomorrow Studios for their work and allowing Oda to ensure the season doesn’t go out until he is satisfied with the end result.
Oda also announced that Season 2 would cover: Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.

Oda then announced that they would be sharing cast announcements for the next three days. Immediately following this tweet, Netflix released a graphic featuring some of the new cast members:
- Jazzara Jaslyn as Valentine
- Brendan Murray as Brogy
- Clive Russell as Crocus
- David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3
- Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5
- Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9
- Werner Coetser as Dorry
- Ty Keogh as Dalton
- Callum Kerr as Smoker
- Julia Rehwald as Tashigi
- Rob Collettie as Wapol
These cast members will join the cast which includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Vincent Regan as Monkey D. Garp, Jeff Ward as Buggy the Clown, and Morgan Davies as Koby.
Additional cast members announced between August 21st, 22nd, and 23rd include:
- Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha
- Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk
- Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra
- Charithra Chandrana as Miss Wednesday

Two new cast members have been announced as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week celebrations including Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0 and Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday.
