Netflix Announces Squid Game’s Air Date for Season 2, Confirms Season 3

Netflix announced on July 31st that Squid Game, their Korean drama that took the world by storm, will be returning for its second season December 26th. Netflix also announced Squid Game would have a third and final season that will be released in 2025.

Squid Game began with the story of “down-on-his-luck dad Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) [who] enters the game and is manipulated by forces beyond his comprehension.”

Squid Game is helmed by series director, writer, and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk, who released a personal note of thanking the fans of the series while also highlighting the excitement to come in Season 2 and Season 3.
