After four seasons of the anime ‘Castlevania’ series aired on Netflix, the streaming service teased the first look at ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ a forthcoming spin-off featuring the young vampire hunter Richter. All eight episodes of ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ will be released on Netflix on Sept. 28.
Synopsis: The heroes Richter, Maria, Annette, and Edouard battle vicious monsters while also facing down their own inner demons. By the time rumors spread of a “vampire messiah” who must be stopped at all costs, the stakes in the ‘Castlevania’ universe have never been higher.
The cast of ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ includes: Edward Bluemel (Persuasion, The Commuter, The Halcyon) as Richter, Pixie Davies (The Magician’s Elephant, Mary Poppins Returns, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) as Maria, Thuso Mbedu (The Woman King, The Underground Railroad, Is’Thunzi) as Annette, Sydney James Harcourt (I’m Not Gay: A Musical, Hamilton) as Edouard, along with Nastassja Kinski (Inland Empire, Cat People, Paris, Texas) as Tera, Zahn McClarnon (Reservation Dogs, Dark Winds, Fargo) as Olrox, and Franka Potente (Titans, Run Lola Run, The Bourne Identity) as Erzsebet Báthory.
