Netflix announced their full list of Korean films, series, and documentaries set to premiere on the streaming service in 2023. Citing the ever-growing popularity of Korean content, according to Netflix “more than 60% of all Netflix members watching Korean titles” in 2022, they’re releasing the most Korean titles ever this year on Netflix with 34 titles.
Don Kang, vice president of content (Korea) is quoted by the press release as saying “We are very excited [about] the variety of the titles that we’re sharing with our members,” says Kang. “There’s truly a series, a film or an unscripted show for everyone, and we look forward to our Korean shows connecting to fans both overseas and at home.”
