Swarm, Donald Glover’s first TV series since Atlanta ended its run, dropped its first teaser trailer today. Glover co-created Swarm with Janine Nabers, known for her work on Atlanta as a writer and a supervising producer on Watchmen. Nabers is also credited as a writer for several of the episodes.
Swarm takes a look at one devoted “fan” named Dre, played by Dominique Fishback, whose intense fandom for a Beyonce-like figure takes an increasingly dark turn. Alongside Fishback, Chloe Bailey, singer, songwriter, and actress, and Damson Idris, known for Snowfall and and Black Mirror, are set to star.
Swarm will be released on Amazon Prime on March 17th.
