During Super Bowl LVII, Warner Bros. Pictures released a new trailer for the upcoming DC film The Flash. The trailer features two Barry Allens (The Flash), Michael Shannon’s return as General Zod, Ben Affleck as Batman, new comer Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, and donning the cowl for the first time in 31 years since Batman Returns Michael Keaton as Batman.
The Flash is set to be released on June 16th, 2023. The story is inspired heavily by the Flashpoint series of comics, features a world broken by Barry with time and space.
Production of the Flash has been plagued by controversy with the actions of lead actor Ezra Miller. Despite this the film’s release has been kept on track.
