During IGN Fan Fest, IGN released the official gameplay trailer for The Expanse: A Telltale Series. The game is part of an expanding universe that initially began with the Expanse book series authored by James S. A. Corey, the joint pen name of authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck.
The game will focus on the story of Camina Drummer, reprised here by actress Cara Gee who played Gee in the television series. The Expanse TV series, produced by SyFy for seasons 1-3 and then Amazon Prime Video for Seasons 4-6, wrapped up with season 6 in 2022.
In August 2022, the Telltale Games team released an introductory video featuring behind the scenes footage of the game with the dev team and Cara Gee.
