Disney+ released the official trailer for the new show ‘The Muppets Mayhem’ which follows the Electric Mayhem into the modern era as they try to record a new album and keep up with the times. All episodes of The Muppets Mayhem series will be released on Disney+ on May 10th.
The Muppets Mayhem’ follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora, the old-school Muppet band comes face to face with the current day music scene as they try to finally go platinum.
Nora is played by Lilly Singh, who is joined by Saara Chaudry, as Nora’s sister Hannah, and Electric Mayhem fanatic Gary ‘Moog’ Moogowski played by Tahj Mowry.
In addition to the cast above, and the Muppets themselves, the show features many cameos including Weird Al, Lil Nas X, Danny Trejo, Kevin Smith and more, who show up in the trailer as well.
