Orphan Black Echoes Ends Its Run After Season 1 Wraps

According to a report from Deadline, Orphan Black Echoes has been cancelled shortly after Season 1 wrapped up its run on AMC with its final episode that aired on August 25, 2024.

Orphan Black Echoes starred Krysten Ritter, Keeley Hawes, and others in this sequel series to BBC’s Orphan Black series created by John Fawcett that ran from 2013 to 2017.

Orphan Black Echoes was a co-production with AMC and BBC America set in the near future. The series took “a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence. It followed a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unravelling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.”

Anna Fishko served as showrunner and executive producer. She was joined by fellow executive producers Ritter, Katie O’Connell Marsh, David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, Kerry Appleyard, and Fawcett.
