Peacock Renews Poker Face for Season 2

Rian Johnson’s Poker Face, streaming on Peacock, has already been renewed for Season 2 before the completion of its first season. Poker Face has earned critical appraise an with 80% Rotten Tomato score by audiences and a 99% rating by critics.

Poker Face stars Natasha Lyonne as Charley, whose natural ability to detect lies proves invaluable as she continually encounters murders on her journey fleeing from a Las Vegas poker tycoon and his hired hand, played by Benjamin Bratt. Johnson developed the ‘murder of the week’ premise with heavy inspiration from shows such as Columbo, often known as “how-dunits’, where the murdered is revealed to the audience at the onset.
