Peacock has unveiled the first trailer for The Paper, the highly anticipated spin-off of The Office (U.S.). The new series shifts the mockumentary lens from the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin to a historic Midwestern newspaper, following a determined publisher’s efforts to breathe new life into the struggling publication.

Premiering September 4, The Paper will debut with four episodes, with two additional episodes released each Thursday through September 25. The cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key, with The Office alum Oscar Nuñez reprising his role.

The series comes from Greg Daniels, co-creator of The Office, who serves as co-creator, co-showrunner, executive producer, writer, and director of the premiere episode under his Deedle-Dee Productions banner. Michael Koman, best known for Nathan for You, joins as co-creator, co-showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, Ben Silverman, and Banijay Americas (formerly Reveille) also serve as executive producers.
