Mythri Movie Makers dropped the first trailers for Pushpa 2: The Rule, which teases the return of Pushpa as played by Allu Arjun. In Pushpa: The Rise, the 2021 Indian-Telugu action film, we saw the ascent of Pushpa as he climbed the ranks of the cut throat red sandalwood cartel. Pushpa: The Rule’s teaser suggests Pushpa will first have to conquer a return from near-death.

Sukumar has returned as the writer and director for Pushpa 2: The Rule. Joining Arjun on the cast will be returning cast members Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh. Pushpa: The Rule’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing were performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.
