Japanese American retired pop star Melody Lee Ishikawa announced on her personal Instagram that she’d be returning to music with her sister in a new passion project titled Melody & Chrstine. Though no release date has been set for music, she wrote in the post’s caption “We will be releasing music from time to time! Look out for it coming soon.”
Melody began her career in music in 2003, before retiring to focus on her work in fashion. She also married Japanese rock musician Miyavi in 2009, and together they’ve raised 3 kids.
