Netflix teases “the next chapter of the Monsterverse” with their new Skull Island trailer. Skull Island is an anime series developed by Netflix and Legendary Television that extends the existing Monsterverse, which includes Kong: Skull Island (2017), a reboot of the King Kong franchise, Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021).
Netflix has announced a release date of June 22nd.
