According to an exclusive report from Variety, ‘Starz’ has cancelled three current shows: ‘Heels’, ‘Blindspotting’, and ‘Run the World’, along with shelving ‘The Venery of Samantha Bird’ before it aired.
‘Heels’ takes a look at the world of pro-wrestling as it followed two brothers fighting over a father’s legacy in the ring.
‘Blindspotting’ is a spin-off from the 2018 film of the same name, which follows the characters after the conclusion of the film’s events.
‘Run the World’ follows a group of friends who live and work in Harlem.
‘The Venery of Samantha Bird’ was set to follow a seeming storybook romance with a unique look at this trope.
As of this writing no explicit reason has been provided for these cancelations.
