Stranger Things Play Debuting in London

Hawkins, 1959: Before the world turned upside down.

Stranger Things announced a new stage adaptation “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” that will be performed at the Phoenix Theatre in London, U.K.

Kate Trefry wrote the play from an an original story by the Duffer Brothers, who created ‘Stranger Things’, Jack Thorne, and Kate Trefry. Stephen Daldry is directing the production. The story is set to be a prequel of the events in the TV series that takes place as the 50’s fades into the 60’s.

BEFORE THE WORLD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN…

Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy… and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.
