Plan 9 from Outer Space, One of the First Films Featured on TCM Underground
TCM Underground announced on their Twitter on February 22, 2023 that they’ll be airing their final film on February 24th.
TCM Underground has been a home to cult classics and film rarities since its inception in 2006. TCM Underground began under TCM’s former marketing director Eric Weber, with Rob Zombie as the original host. Millie De Chirico took over Eric’s role as programmer for the weekly series.
This news follows the layoff of Millie De Chirico in December 2022, when she announced she’d been layed off from her job after 18 years. This layoff was largely seen as a result of Warnor Bros. Discovery attempt to shore up their finances by cutting costs.
