Toho released the teaser for the forthcoming Doraemon feature Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Chikyu Symphony, which will be released on March 1, 2024 in Japan.
The teaser celebrates the 90th anniversary of Fujiko F. Fujio the manga writing duo of Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko, who first created Doraemon.
“Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Chikyu Symphony” will be directed by Kazuaki Imai, with a screenplay written by Teruko Utsumi. The cast for the film includes:
Doraemon: Wasabi Mizuta
Nobita: Megumi Ohara
Shizuka: Yumi Kakazu
Gian: Subaru Kimura
Suneo: Tomokazu Seki
The Doraemon manga was first published in serial form in December 1969. Doraemon has become an icon in Japan, and though lesser known has had some cultural presence in the United States with the release of Doraemon (2005 TV Series) on Disney XD.
