Warner Music Launches MPLIFY, Signs Olivia Marsh, Sister of NewJeans’ Danielle

Warner Music Korea (WMK) announced the launch of a new music label MPLIFY that aims to help Korean artists reach international audiences.

In the press release, they go on to say MPLIFY is “a progressive label dedicated to support Korean artists with international connections. By concentrating on English-language music, MPLIFY aims to help these artists engage with a worldwide audience and succeed in the international music scene.”

WMK also announced that their first signee is Olivia Marsh, the sister of NewJeans member Danielle Marsh. The press release goes on to say Olivia will release her first digital single this October.

Olivia’s music takes inspiration from a diverse array of artists from Abba to John Denver to Tame Impala and Vera Blue. Olivia studied at the University of Melbourne and collaborated with producers and songwriters in the K-Pop scene.

Samuel Ku, the Executive Producer at Warner Music Korea, will head up MPLIFY. In the press release, Ku says he’s excited for the label to welcome and foster talents such as Olivia and that, “This platform aims to connect artists with fans globally, leveraging Warner Music’s extensive network and resources. Our commitment is to support exceptional talent by providing the tools they need to achieve success. MPLIFY embodies our mission to elevate unique voices within the music industry.”
