Netflix has dropped the trailer for The Madness, a limited-series thriller headlined by Colman Domingo as a man caught in a desperate struggle after a chilling discovery in the woods.
Synopsis: The eight-part series, set to premiere on November 28th, follows media pundit Muncie Daniels (Domingo) as he races to clear his name and protect his life after witnessing a murder deep in the Poconos mountains. While hunted and cornered, Muncie must also navigate the tumult of his estranged family and confront the ideals he once abandoned to survive.
Domingo, whose recent performances include features in The Color Purple, Sing Sing, and Rustin, anchors a compelling ensemble cast. Joining him are Marsha Stephanie Blake (When They See Us, Orange Is the New Black), Gabrielle Graham (Twenties, 21 Thunder), John Ortiz (Silver Linings Playbook), Tamsin Topolski (The Diplomat), and Thaddeus J. Mixson.
Created by Stephen Belber and co-showrun by executive producer VJ Boyd, The Madness promises to weave an intricate story of survival and redemption set against a backdrop of mounting suspense.
